A combination of orange peel, lemon peel and coriander, pre packed with an infusion bag, that will add lots of sweet yet fresh, Mediterranean citrus flavours to your mead.
The pack is designed to be added to your mead once the fermentation is complete and the mead is clear.
Pour the botanicals into the infusion bag, tie a knot, and put in a mug and cover with boiling water to hydrate and release the oils and aromas. Leave for 10 minutes to infuse, then add the infusion bag and the infused water to your mead.
Leave for 24 hours and have a taste. If you want more flavour, just leave to infuse longer.
Once your mead has the desired flavour, filter and bottle as normal.
This infusion is suitable for up to 4.5 litres.
This infusion is also suitable for infusing gin with sweet, fresh, Mediterranean citrus flavours.
